Edu: Getting More Time for a Roth Conversion

With recent changes to tax laws, it may be beneficial to get more time to do a Roth Conversion. An unfortunate byproduct of the 2018 tax law change is the inability to do a Roth Recharacterization. This means that a Roth Conversion is final and you must pay all taxes due. However, it can be difficult to know what your tax situation is, in December, when you need to decide on your conversion amount. Jim and Chris explain a unique strategy to buy yourself more time to decide how much to convert.
