How to Fix Errors on a 1099R Form

February 25, 2017

Jim and Chris answer listeners’ emails and  finally got an email question from West Virginia! The WV listener wanted to know if Jim and Chris think it’s possible that the government will end the tax free benefits of the Roth IRA. Another listener wanted to know Jim’s and Chris’s thoughts on using a Qualified Charitable Distribution to remove basis from an IRA. A third listener wanted to know why, if the same fund is held in an IRA and a 401(k), the share prices would be different. Justin Fundalinski joins Chris for the last segment of the show to discuss errors on 1099R forms and how to correct them.
